The 2026 Muriel Street Party was on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Next year’s date hasn’t been announced yet — but we usually hold it on the Saturday before the final week of TDSB school.
- What will the party have?

There will be food, drinks, games and entertainment for neighbours of all ages.
- Who's invited?

Everyone in the neighbourhood! You don’t have to live on Muriel Avenue to come. Gertrude Place, Selkirk Avenue, Aldwych Avenue, Eaton Avenue and Pape Avenue neighbours are all welcome.
- Can I bring a friend from outside the neighbourhood?

- How can I help?

The easiest way to contribute is to bring snacks or drinks to one of the tables. Home-baked goods are welcome — just put out a note listing the ingredients. The drink tables will have coolers with ice and cups, so feel free to stock them with whatever you like.

If you’re able, you can also donate to the party. Donations help cover expenses like ice cream, pizza and entertainment.
- Are you closing the street?

No — we’ll be using the yards, parking pads and sidewalks of Muriel Avenue, south of Selkirk. Vehicles will still be able to drive down the street. We’ll put out some large traffic cones at the Muriel / Selkirk intersection to calm traffic.
- I live on the south part of Muriel Avenue. Can I still street-park my car while the party is on?

Yes! But if you’re able to park elsewhere, that’s appreciated.
- Are you making money off this party?

Nope! All money that neighbours donate goes toward party expenses. Everyone involved is just volunteering.
